Alt/Finance Wins Finalist Spot in Startup Pitch Competition at digitalundivided Demo Day

In 2023, Alt/Finance was selected to participate in the digitalundivided's year-long Do You Fellowship with access to workshops, industry leaders, and mentorship. On October 16th, the seasoned cohort presented indigitalundivided’s inaugural Do You Fellowship pitch competition which took place during Newark Tech Week for non-equitable grants totaling $90K.

digitalundivided is an organization that seeks to create support female founders in scaling their businesses to the $1 million revenue mark. It began with groundbreaking research and has since expanded to founder-centric training programs, strategic partnerships and a vibrant founder community. digitalundivided not only champions an equitable entrepreneurial landscape, it provides founders at various stages of running a business, the space to improvise and innovate.

Alt/Finance was awarded 2nd place and won a $25,000 grant to fuel further growth.

As a final stage of the year long fellowship program, the 2024 participating companies presented their businesses a panel pf judges. The companies and founders included F&W Style (Alexandria Alli), DivySci Software (Ariana Abramson), Cincha Travel (Ashley Sharma), Melx World (Darsha Ham & Dawn Robinson), MisTee Wants To Know, Inc. (Janice Williams Oliver), Youdle (Kontji Anthony), Co-Created Goods (Kristen Sanders), 7 Generation Games (Maria Burns Ortiz), Under Her Empire (Ryen Williams), LegacyShift (Sandra Appiah), DentalFynd (Tobi Bosede) and Alt/Finance (Sharon Obuobi).
