RM Sotheby’s returns to the Arizona Biltmore on January 23 to open its 2026 auction season with $60 million worth of collector cars, featuring “The Longhorn Collection” which will feature nine cars and will be led by a 1995 Ferrari F50, a 2015 Ferrari La Ferrari, and a 2009 Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M. The Longhorn Collection is the first collection announced for RM Sotheby’s first auction of the year, set for January 23 at the 28th annual Arizona auction at the Arizona Biltmore.
Built to celebrate Ferrari’s 50th anniversary, the 1995 Ferrari F50 is being offered for sale as one of the marque’s most important modern supercars and a cornerstone of the legendary “Big Six” hypercar lineage (Estimate: $7,000,000–$9,000,000 USD). Ferrari’s ultimate hybrid hypercar, the 2015 Ferrari La Ferrari, is being offered for sale as a pinnacle example of the brand’s modern engineering, blending Formula 1–derived technology with extraordinary performance (Estimate: $4,500,000–$5,000,000 USD).
Created to honor Ferrari’s 16th Formula 1 Constructors’ Championship, the 2009 Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M is being offered for sale as a rare, race-bred open-top celebration of Ferrari’s motorsport heritage (Estimate: $750,000–$900,000 USD). Headlined by three standout Ferraris, including a 1995 Ferrari F50, a 2015 Ferrari La Ferrari, and a 2009 Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M, the collection spans multiple eras of Ferrari road car excellence. Bringing together landmark modern supercars and refined grand tourers, The Longhorn Collection offers collectors a compelling cross-section of Ferrari’s most celebrated designs and more. “The market is strong for late-model limited production sports cars from the 1990s and 2000s, and at the very top of that segment sits Ferrari.
The Longhorn Collection brings together a number of special cars, but at the top are two of Ferrari’s ‘ Big Six’ halo cars, the F50 and La Ferrari,” said Gord Duff, President of RM Sotheby’s . “In total, four of Ferrari’s six halo cars will be offered in Arizona, with two of those models coming from The Longhorn Collection, setting the stage for an exciting start to RM Sotheby’s 2026 auction season.” The collection features nine cars, with highlights including: 1995 Ferrari F50 - One of just 349 examples built to celebrate Ferrari’s 50th anniversary, this highly original F50 is finished in its original paint, Rosso Corsa over Nero, with Rosso seat inserts and shows just 8,195 miles at cataloguing.
Chassis 104064 has received extensive six-figure servicing by Ferrari of Newport Beach, including replacement of the fuel cell. Powered by a naturally aspirated 4.7-liter V-12 derived from Ferrari’s Formula 1 program, the F50 produces 513 horsepower and offers 200-plus mph performance through a carbon fiber tub and Pininfarina bodywork. Complete with outstanding original accessories, including its hardtop with flight case and rare Tod’s Ferrari F50 driving shoes, this example stands as a cornerstone of Ferrari’s “Big Six” hypercar lineage (Estimate: $7,000,000–$9,000,000 USD). 2015 Ferrari La Ferrari - Ferrari’s definitive hybrid hypercar, La Ferrari pairs a naturally aspirated 6.3-liter V-12 with a Formula One–derived KERS electric motor for a combined 949 horsepower and sub-2.5-second 0–60 mph performance.
Limited to 499 examples and built around a Formula 1–inspired carbon fiber tub with active aerodynamics, it represents the pinnacle of Ferrari’s modern engineering. Finished in Rosso Corsa over Nero and Rosso and showing just 1,938 miles at cataloguing, chassis 211443 is a minimally driven example of one of the most significant road cars Ferrari has ever produced (Estimate: $4,500,000–$5,000,000 USD). 2009 Ferrari Scuderia Spider 16M - Created to celebrate Ferrari’s 16th Formula 1 Constructors’ Championship, the 16M is limited to 499 examples and derived from the F430 Scuderia.
Its naturally aspirated 4.3-liter V-8 produces 503 horsepower, delivering 0–60 mph in 3.8 seconds, while extensive lightweight materials allowed it to shed 176 pounds versus a standard F430 Spider. Finished in Rosso Corsa with Italian tricolor livery over Nero with Rosso accents and showing just 3,186 miles at cataloguing, this example has received recent servicing by Ferrari of San Antonio and Ferrari of Newport Beach (Estimate: $750,000–$900,000 USD).
