Milton Keynes, UK – The Bonhams|Cars Motorcycle Department will present stunning array of Collectors' Motorcycles, Motor Cars, Spares, and Memorabilia in an online sale from 17 – 27 January with bidding closing from midday on 27 January. Bonhams' timed online auctions have become a hallmark of success, generating over £1.2 million of the £7.7million total motorcycle sales achieved in 2024. Recent record results include the Ex-Ike Webb c.1922 Brough Superior 996cc MkI/SS80 'Special' fetching £74,750, and the remarkably original and unrestored, 1955 Vincent 998cc Black Knight , selling for £57,500.

A preview of the bikes offered for sale will take place on Wednesday, January 22nd between 09:00 and 17:00 at the dedicated facility in Milton Keynes.

A trio of Stevenage's finest Vincents led by the 1949/1951 Vincent-HRD 998cc Comet/White Shadow (estimate: £30,000 – 40,000) will be offered, featuring a genuine Series-C White Shadow engine, with considerable expenditure on refurbishment since acquisition, as well as the 1952 Vincent 499cc Series-C Comet (estimate: £10,000 – 15,000), a matching-number example, that benefited from an extensive restoration spanning 2008 to 2020.

Thundering V-twins take centre stage, featuring the 1939 Brough Superior 982cc SS80 Special (estimate: £40,000 – 50,000), a beautifully restored gem boasting matching frame, engine, and gearbox. Also on offer is the Banbury Run-eligible 1930 AJS 996cc R2 V-Twin (estimate: £8,000 – 12,000), complemented by an optional AJS occasional two-seat sidecar, available separately for those seeking the perfect trio-riding experience.

Adding to the excitement, two fantastic motor cars will feature in the sale, both from prominent single-owner motorcycle collections set to headline Bonhams' eagerly awaited Spring Stafford Sale on April 26th and 27th. First, the 1948 Bentley Mark VI Special (estimate: £10,000 – 15,000) offered from the Andy Chapman Collection, a treasure trove of Italian, British, and Japanese superbikes from the 1960s to the 1980s. and the 1926 Morris Oxford 13.9hp 'Bullnose' Tourer (estimate: £5,000 – 8,000), a practical vintage tourer offered from the estate of the late Derek Fox, a celebrated collector whose incredible collection of Vintage Nortons, including the ex-H Matthews, 1927 Amateur TT, 1927 Norton 490cc ES2 Racing Motorcycle , will also star at Stafford.

Racing pedigree meets iconic engineering with the 2001 Honda 999cc SP-1 (estimate: £7,000 – 10,000), a road and track racing legend produced for just two years only, now available after a decade of dedicated ownership. Joining the SP-1is the 1980 Laverda 981cc Jota (estimate: £8,000 – 12,000), accompanied by a detailed history file, showcasing over £4,000 of expert restoration by UK specialists Made In Italy in 2019.
