Ishiuchi Miyako's impressive work can be discovered at the Salle Henri-Comte inBelongings,her first solo exhibition in France. The artist’s work is also featured inI’m So Happy You Are Here, a group exhibition of Japanese women photographers co-produced by Les Rencontres and Aperture at the Palais de l’Archevêché. Supported by Kering through theWomen In MotionLAB, this is the first exhibition dedicated to the history of women’s photography in Japan. Accompanying the exhibition is the first book on the topic, published in English by Aperture and in French by Textuel, also supported by Kering through theWomen in MotionLAB. To further this spotlight on Japanese women photographers, Kering is pleased to collaborate with Kyotographie as part of the Arles Associé program to presentTranscendance.This exhibition, co-produced by SIGMA, features work by six Japanese artists and is part of the10/10 project, celebrating contemporary Japanese women photographers. Supported by Kering as part of the 2022 festival edition, this initiative highlights Kering's ongoing partnership with the festival in Japan. Finally, since the award was first introduced in 2016, Kering is proud to continue its support for the Prix de la Photo Madame Figaro, dedicated to recognizing and promoting emerging female talent.
